Kiss N Twist

Once upon a time, in the heart of the city, there blossomed a haven for natural hair - Kiss and Twist. Created with love and a deep understanding of the beauty of natural hair, this salon became a sanctuary for Black women choosing to embrace their natural tresses. The visionary owner saw it as more than a salon; it was a service, a helping hand to those who juggled their busy lives - from lawyers and educators to students and more. She knew that maintaining natural hair was no small feat - it required time, science, and patience, often in short supply in the whirlwind of daily life. Kiss and Twist emerged as the answer, a place where women could unwind and let experts care for their hair, making the journey of embracing natural beauty a little easier and much more joyful.

With this script from the client I was able to come up with a concept that would align with the brand identity. The owner hired me as a Creative director and Stylist.

The first step in my process is to give each model a persona.
